This weeks theme Forest School with Whitchurch Primary was ‘The Gruffalo’. In addition to making Gruffalo crumble and owl ice-cream, we also did loads of ‘Gruffiti’ using the mud paint that we made too.
25/3/21 - The Easter Bunny -Whitchurch Primary (Forest School)
To celebrate our last session before the Easter holidays, the Easter Bunny met the children from Whitchurch Primary at their Forest School session at Withymead Nature Reserve. First, we looked for signs of her predators (namely - Mr. Fox) by using guides that helped us the identify footprints and poo that we found. Our 'Good Poo Guide' enabled us to identify lots of rabbit droppings, then we decided to create a 'poo gallery'! We then used a Magic Smelling Potion to see if could 'sniff out' any fox activity. Finally, we all transformed ourselves into rabbits and had great fun hopping around during a game of 'What's the time Mr. Fox?'.
