What they say……

“Teresa has been working with Katesgrove Primary School in her capacity as our Forest School Lead for at least 7 years.  She is a delight to work with, with such enthusiasm for children learning outdoors.  Her energy and enthusiasm are infectious.  Teresa is so knowledgeable about wildlife and her love of her subject shines through.  The children love their sessions and are full of what they’ve done on their return to school.  Her no nonsense but sensitive approach hits just the right note, with children feeling supported and able to push past their challenges and, sometimes, very real fears of being out in nature.  We would have Teresa every week, for the whole academic year, if our budget allowed, as she has had such a positive impact on our most challenging children and our most sensitive.

I have nothing but praise for her.

Sarah Rushton, Deputy Head, Katesgrove School, Reading.

“Teresa is enthusiastic, passionate, extremely knowledgeable and brings out the children’s passion for wildlife, exploring and the natural environment covering many aspects of the EYFS. The children are always excited to go to Forest School and are vocal about what they have learnt. For me personally it was lovely to hear feedback from my nephew who left nursery last July but only last week commented that a man on the television wasn’t holding a scorpion correctly as he wasn’t being gentle. He then explained how Teresa had shown him to gently pick them up with a spoon and he finished by telling me that at Tigers he learnt that we must be kind to all living things as they all have different jobs to do..”
